Pre employment medical exams – why do them?
- To assure compliance with the medical requirements from a government or trade agency.
- To control hidden health risks in safety sensitive jobs.
- To promote good health and protect benefit program costs.
Pre employment medicals usually consist of a physician assessment, audio test, EKG (if over a certain age), blood work urinalysis, vision screening and possibly drug and alcohol screening. After the medical is complete the patient receives a fitness certificate and a copy is sent to the employer.
As with the majority of our services, PRAXES can provide these services remotely, at your site, our own, or at partner clincis. Contact us for more information on the many types of medical testing we offer.
